Creating Two Ads with Page Targeting

Page targeting allows you to target ads to certain pages. This allows you to make your ads display on more relavant pages and also allows you to charge more for placement on certain pages (like your sites home page). In this recipe we are going to create two ads. One ad is going to be configured to targets and display only on the front page of the site and the other ad is going to target and display on any page except for the front page of the site.

1. Download and install the AdPlugg Plugin.
2. Log in to your AdPlugg account and create a new ad as follows (for help creating ads, see the Ad Help Page):
   1. Name the ad "Front Page Ad"
   2. Upload an image for the ad.
   3. Under Targeting, click on the Page Targeting tab.
   4. Choose "Only the specified pages" and enter <front> into the text box.
   5. Save the ad.
3. Create a second ad as follows:
   1. Name the ad "Back Page Ad"
   2. Upload an image for the ad.
   3. Under Targeting, click on the Page Targeting tab.
   4. Choose "All pages except those listed" and enter <front> into the text box.
   5. Save the ad.

Lastly, check the front page of your site and the secondary/back pages and confirm that the correct ads are displayed.
