I am doing a "old School Static HTML "website with modern enhancements. I realize it will not work on a smartphone, thats ok. Just wondering how to best use Adplugg in this project.

You can do it using the AdPlugg Snippet. The AdPlugg Snippet will work on any website. This recipe from our cookbook shows you how to set up a single ad on your site: Creating a Single Ad Using the Snippet. You can then build it out from there. Feel free to contact us for help along the way.
